I used to have this problem.

My situation improved when I looked at it as a sleeping disorder both separate and a part of my depression.

Don't eat food before you go to bed and give yourself something meaningful to do when you wake up. You'll find that in time you'll be more motivated to be awake.

Also, don't rely completely on any depression pills to fill that void you feel in your life. Do your best to make friends and to build a life that you can be happy with. There is no magic pill.

Your medicine makes you want to sleep to counteract your depression. Are you getting professional help. I assume you are since you are taking medicine for it. Talk to your doctor about your concerns. They are trained to give you worthwhile advice, not this sill shit you read here.

How the hell does one afford to carry on a lifestyle of sleep that much' I'm baffled! You should enter one of those sleep studies at the local University so you can at least get paid for sleeping all day. Holy shit, man!

If a person does a lot of Methanfetamine , they tend not to sleep at all. Or, like the first post sais: Get A Job, Slob.

If you're sleeping that much, your medication isn't working like it should. Tell your doctor. Get your dosage increased, or the meds changed. I've had to try several different antidepressants before I found one that got me up and moving.
