weather
The average temperature in july in iceland is 10C (50F).
And its very often windy (for we dont have any trees) and rainy, sometimes even snow-mixed rain.
We had a crazy winter snowy storm on may 25th this year.
Is it normal that locals in their desperate attempt in coming to the conclusion that their country is normal..
say that this "aint that bad"?
You are very easily ticket off and taken out of balance.
It seems like you dont have much control over your emotional life, a tiny pointless post on isitnormal.com seems to be enough.
Maybe you need some counceling to deal with this anger of yours.
To the Iceman, in England, sometimes it seems that all we talk about is the weather, except we say that it's bad all the time, be it cold, wet or hot.
Also had you thought of planting some tree's?
and if not that they take 50 years to reach 3 meters or something.
The danish queen was invited to iceland once and they were showing this gesture by planting a tree in an icelandic forest.
They drove to the country side and got out.
Queen: So where is the forest?
President of Iceland: Youre standing in it.
Queen: Oh yes, off course, i knew that!
What do you do if you get lost in an icelandic forest?
You stand up.
Hummer - i suppose that their frame of reference for "not that bad" is probably a little different to everyone elses.. i moved from southern england to the far north, and the weather up here is much worse - or i thought it was, now i think that a day that's not windy, and is fairly dry is a good day!
