Nope, History shows that this concern comes at the end and the beginning of each century. Preachers get wound up at these times. They speak of how bad things are in the world today.

Look at history, it's been worse. The Black plague for instance that wiped out half of Europe was way worse than what we are experiencig today.

Hitler and rise of Germany, that to was contributed to the final days, some religious figures even predicting the end within the a matter of a few years.

And if it makes you feel any better, even more religious scholars believe it will be another 2000 years.
