I have had some major issues with my future mother in law. So I fear I may have lost my objectivity. I only see BF on weekends, we live 4 hrs apart. One weekend I was there, his mother called 4 times and dropped over uninvited once. She knows we go to bed early on Sunday's because we get up at 5:00. She called at 10:00 that night, we were in bed. She had a tooth filled on Friday and the novacaine she received was still bothering her. She asked my BF if the novacaine he received years before during his vasectomy felt the same way! I know that the numerous phone calls everytime I'm up and the dropping over whenever she feels like it is not good. But I really feel that it was incredibly inappropriate for her to ask her son what the novacaine in his testicles felt like from years previous. Almost like the Oedipus complex in reverse. Am I normal?
