Okay i just want to clear a little doubt. Is herpes always sexually transmitted? I mean can someone get the disease if they weren't sexually active? Also i'd like to know if there is a permanent cure for it.
Please post only wise comments.
Do you think it's normal?

Also Yes and No
There are different types of herpes. I have not followed the link above, but I think it would be wise for you to do so.
No you can also get it from blood transfusions and such. Not just sexually.
if you get it you can never be cured.
And also, countless millions of people have it all over the world.
Its a freaking pest and if you have unprotected sex with someone you dont know you may well be getting it.
People can carry this shit without knowledge of it for a long time.
And also, a lot of people carry it and give it to you anyways simply because it doesnt suit their interest at the current moment to tell you about it.

So beware.
herpes complex A can be transmitted through food or objects

we know it as cold sores
herpes is a virus not a disease a disease can be treated but a virus is stuck with you forever
Definitely check out the herpes link. I have herpes simplex - the one that causes fever blisters/cold sores on my lips (upper, thank you). Can't cure it, but can relieve the symptoms.
herpes is transmitted through any type of contact. severe strands can infect the eye and brain.

i have no idea.
They just came out with a medicine that prevents outbreaks and can allow you to go up to a year without having one. I saw a commercial. There's no cure for herpes though.
no cure but it can be controlled.... get it from kissing....oral sex...or if you were molested when you were younger....but stds dont appear out of nowhere
i think a child can be born with it if the mother had it.
How did the first person get it?
i am a wise comment
