Signs of attraction from boss?
My boss (who's 20 years or over my senior, probably) is a really funny, nice guy who'se a bit shy. I get a kick out of his silly british sense of humor and he's always trying to get a laugh out of me, showing off. I have a really bad radar for telling if a guy is attracted to me, but there's been a couple times when we've run into each other in the hall, one of us coming out of the washroom or something and sort of run into each other and he'd look really closely into my eyes for a prologned time, they'd be really wide and seeming very interested, i'd feel this sharp feeling in my gut, but then i'd have to look away and he'd quickly look down and we'd both sort of smile and go on our way......

does this sound like he's attracted to me? Or would there need to be more signs... I've had that eye contact thing before with guys where I get that sharp little punch in my abdomen straight away but I don't know if it's just me or actually some chemical type reaction that happens during mutual attraction.

Be very careful . . .
First off, is the guy married. And are there any stupid rules about employees dating.

Let him be the first to make any moves. Dating the boss can lead to you having to quit your job if things go sour.

Next time you run into him have a pile of books or something in your hand make out to accidently drop them. When you pick up the books together watch for a moment in his eyes. Why dont you try and get some overtime when you can be alone and see what happens. You could have a root on his desk youd like that.

sometimes I give the ladies that soulful deep look in their eyes, and right afterwards I usually feel something like that sharp punch in my abdomen which you speak of, only it's not a punch, it's usually a kick, and a little lower then my abdomen, if you know what i mean. Then they never speak to me again, unless it's in the courtroom while a restraining order is being issued. Ah love!....sigh....
