Well apparently when I was a baby my family’s pet cat use to always crawl into my crib with me and purr as happy cats are prone to do. I guess I mimicked the cat and happened to be a purring baby as my Grandmother often informed me.

My purring ability cropped up later and I would be known to randomly purr if anyone stroked my hair or if I was in a generally happy mood. Get to becoming sexually active and my random purrs have increased. I’ve been known to make some rather loud purrings during sex or continue on like some overly content cat after sex as well.

I’m not talking about saying the word purr and rolling the R’s or vibrating my tongue just to make the sound either, I can actually make the sound in the back of my throat much like a real cat.

So am I the only one about who can purr like a cat and does purr when pleased?
