You're questioning your beliefs. That's plenty normal. Most people believe in some supreme being or afterlife, etc so in that sense it's not normal, but normal probably shouldn't be majority rules. Your definition of athiesm seems normal to me. You don't believe there is a god, or any other magic. Keep questioning. I mean have you answered how did we get here yet. Evolution is bullshit, but that doesn't mean god created us. Perhaps the universe was born out the ass of a green elephant.

A "God" is not a thing, its merely a belief. That IS a fact. Just like you believe there may be aliens, but you dont really know. So if you chose not to believe in a belief, and your life is full enough for you to to be able to cope without this belief in it, and you are not scared of dying, then you are a lucky human. Agnostic, atheist, reincarnation, judgement day..who cares. We all evolved. Get over it.

I'm an atheist. And if you don't like it tough. The whole point of being and atheist give the point to people that we DO NOT believe in God. We don't accept thatsomethings there. We wouldn't even acknowledge that we are "atheists" if it weren't for the
"believers". We jus try to live our days out here on earth. And who the hell knows what comes after that. And that's part of the reason why we don't believe. It's much better not to worry about "repenting for our sin" so we can get into "heaven". It's so much better to remain blissfully unaware of what happens after you die.

Thing is a lot of people would say that belief in something other than yourself is natural. So atheism is unusual in that sense. I agree though that its safer and more realistic to just believe in yourself than anyone else.

Your interpretation of what it means to be an Athiest is a bit off, but if you don't believe that there is anything. An afterlife, a god/goddess, heaven/hell, anything, then your an athiest.

Your reasoning is terribly flawed. It is ridiculous to say that you have to believe in something in order not to believe in it. Atheism is the rejection of all religious doctrines and the very idea of any higher power or entity.

Satanism on the other hand requires that you must first believe in God in order to believe in Satan because they are characters in the same story.

If you are unsure whether there is a higher power but don't necessarily outright reject the idea you are an agnostic.

The only problem I have with atheism is that its so rock-steady. The same force of faith seems to occur in both atheists and theists - they believe what they believe, regardless of evidence. (Though here it should be acknowledged that atheists have more empirical backing than most faiths.)

I personally do not know what to call myself. I do not 'believe' in anything, which is not the same as saying I believe in nothing. Quite simply, if I am shown convincing evidence for something, I will be happy to believe it. HOWEVER, if I am then shown evidence for something else, I will not deny the evidence because of any previous belief, I will take that evidence on board, and possibly adapt what I believe accordingly.

Of course, that said, I have some irrational beliefs of my own (doesn't everyone?), but I acknowledge them as irrational.

Atheism is when you believe in an upper power that created things, but not any known god, or a god at all(not sure on that). Nihilism is the way to go. Fuck Christ, Fuck the Jews.
