Is romance dead?

This girl I know is getting married soon. She is only 18. All my friends say that she is crazy and that the marriage won't last.

I actually got into a verbal fight with one of my close friends about this. I think that the marriage will last. Why do people always think that young people getting married is stupid? What's funny is one of my friend's(who disagrees with the whole thing) parent's got married at 19. He says it's because of Vietnam and that they got married for certain financial reasons or something. Is romance dead?
Do you think it's normal?

Romance is not dead it just smells funny
Romance isn't dead, but half of today's marriages will be dead. (50%/or more of all marriages end in divorce)

I think 18 is way to young to get married and settled down. Been there, done that, it sucked . . .
Romance dead? Are you insane. It is very much alive and well. Take the young romeo who goes to my college. After downing a large quantity of vodka with his mates and his youg love, whom he affectionatly reffered to as "bitch", he bought himself a large kebab which he allowed her to share.
He then demanded a blow job in a bus shelter while his mates watched and he finished of his moonlight meal. After promising not to ejaculate into her mouth, and doing it anyway, he then demanded she does it to his friend in payment of him not having to payback £10 that was previously owed.

If thats not romantic I dont know what is...
£10 that was meant to be, not 10 blowjobs.
Ok apparently the pound symbol does not appear on this for some reason... Maybe it is veiwed as offensive.
