RE: You are not alone. SDR:Jismcreme
All you churchies are full of sh*t. Your all mighty christ (if he exists) is a hypocritical being if you read the bible. Why make one person totally inane and impaired and another (sinful, pedo, murder etc) person perfectly healthy? My son was born imperfect and since that day what glimmer of belief i had was gone. You churchies will put it down to the sins of my forefathers blah blah blah as the preacher with a black eye told me once. Heres my final question to any believer that feels they know all about the all mighty man himself. If GOD created JESUS, who created GOD? Ive asked the best and the only answer is he has always existed. you will have to come up with something better than that!

And ur son, no matter wat his physical imperfections are, is and always will be perfect in ur eyes, because he is ur son. So as long as u belive in something (anything), it won't a wasted belief.

Who created reality?
It doesn't have to be a "who" for either one and in both cases it "just happened somehow."
This is no reason to believe or to disbelieve. Also, if a Christian judges your son as deserving of his imperfection, then they are not much of a Christian as this is not what the Bible teaches.
Now, there is plenty of other discrepancies in the Bible which serve much better to persuade someone away from the religion. I used to be hardcore Christian, but not anymore. I can't lie to myself even if I wish it were the truth. (It would be nice to have the answers to everything, wouldn't it?)
A few things I'd like to point out are how the Bible says it's ok to hit your wife. As long as she gets up within a few days there has been nothing done wrong. If a son or daughter curses their parents, they must be stoned to death. If a person works on the sabbath, they must be put to death. (See Leviticus)
Also, if God is unchanging and perfect, why did Jesus suddenly change everything completely?
Also, isn't it really that we are not following what "God" says so we are forgiven because of Jesus, but we're still "supposed" to be following "God's rule" from the old testament?
Maybe next Sunday all those Jewish and Christian people should go out and kill everyone who's working? (and if they don't, they will be forgiven by Jesus.. well.. At least the Christians will...but they're still bad people for defying God's written word)
