Is It Normal?
What do you think?
Creepy customers!
I work in retail, and oh my god, i'm not even joking we have regulars that are quite honestly the most freaky people i have ever met....If they aren't creepy they are just plain annoying...For example
There is an old woman who comes with WITH NO NOSE!
Another woman has a hole in her throat and breaths through a tube.
One woman comes in and like today has been into my shop 5times in 4hours, and has been served 5times. Not only that she talks to herself!
One man smells so bad i cant even take a breath and can smell him the instant he steps foot in the shop - and it's not a small shop.
And why don't people call the reciept a reciept!! No it's always the thing, the ticket, the slip
Why do people come in and complain until they have left about prices or where things are laid out and then come back in the next day and the next.
And what is with asking where the fuckin checkout is if you are standing right in front of it.
Or asking the cashier which till she is at when she is standing at one.
Honestly people are so stupid.
Some of them take upto 20mins looking or counting change - Oh my god just pay!!!!
Or stand in front of the EMPTY fridge and say have you got any milk!!!
Is any of this normal?? Why are people so fuckin thick...I just don't get it, i don't do these things when i walk into a shop...
Don't even get me started on people who are banned yet repeatedly try and come in then get mad when they are kicked out by security. Or the alcaholics, who can't even say what they want cos they are so wasted.

it's capitalism my friend
Bad day at work, eh? Relax and breathe.......
Well that's what happens when you are the cafeteria staff at a mental hospital. It's not their fault...
Welcome to my hometown it's called loadedoldpeopleville USA. It sucks I know but hey that's the way it is. Really sucks to be behind them in the fast lane too.
I would like to know why people get banned from a shop. What did they do. What annoys me about shops is young girls who are more interested in the conversation they are having than serving customers. Incopitant staff who dont know their products and couldnt be bothered to go out of their way to help a customer. You are there to serve the public not critisize them. Sales assistant is a low paid menial task for geeks get used to it or get another job.
hey cabinet, I work in a shop, and all that is true they are so stupid, customers cant even be bothered to look. i talk to the other staff but if someone is being served were not allowed to speak to anyone other than the customer. and if someone needs something we have to show them exactly where it is, your right its a silly low paid job till you get something better but sometimes it just isnt worth how uninteresting some people can be
p.s, we ban people from our shop, mostly kids, for stealing or causing trouble, or trying to buy products underage for themselves or other people.
no matter where you go you will always have creepy customers.... maybe yous should look into another job, maybe something like stocking shelves... that way you wont have to deal with as many customers.... as for roger49, if you think your town is loaded with old people then visit New Port Richy, FL... i was there for one week and it was worse than any where i have ever been... no one knows how to drive, i would wait until 4:30 in the afternoon before i would attempt to get in my car and drive... becasue by then they are already asleep
AARP named my town the #1 retirement place in america. the average age is 55
i work in a call center... pple are dumb... common sense is only noticible in about 35% of my calls.
Indeed, it is called working in retail, dealing with the public. If you are fortunate not to have to deal with the public at large, working with employees, professionals, you will avoid a lot of the annoyances and aggravations. There is also a lot of mental illness in society that is not diagnosed or goes untreated. Get out of retail and you will see less of what you describe.
Wow, this is truly not normal. its these people with the problem, not you. the only thing you should worry about is maybe there might be something in the water you all drink, i heard shit like that can impair ones ability to think.
