Lashings and lashings of the old ultra-violence

I was walking with my ex (who i still live with) near the gay scene in town when a guy shouted out that he was a "n***er and a fag" (he's black). I lost my temper on both counts, picked up a chair (from outside one of the bars) and beat the guy unconscius with it - I heard he was in hospital for a while but fully recovered, though there was a lot of blood at the time (but head wounds always bleed a lot, don't they?). I have mixed feelings about the thing (he deserved it but I shouldn't have done it) and now I realise that I only did it because I still care about my ex as a friend, and have gotten very used to protecting him. Comments: am I f*cked in the head for behaving that way or... Is it Normal?

Using a metal chair (collapsable) I beat this man around the head 4 times, it had a nice weight to it and felt good - it was quite satisfying, though shouting "Black Power" was considered going a bit too far so I just spat on him. Most people know who I am on the scene so its not like he can't try and find me, or my loved ones (like spiderman...).

ok so your ex is black was called nigger and fag by a random guy. If that is the case I'm a lot more understanding than I was the first time I read this. You're right you shouldn't have done it but the guy was making an ass of himself. My advice get a handle on your agression. But feeling angry would be perfectly normal.

It is socially unacceptable to put people in the hospital for something they have SAID. Having said that, I understand the need to protect yourself and your friend. Is normal, but calm down.

i think you should go and beat the shit out of him again, in advance for the next time he thinks of opening his big fucking mouth.... there are some people who call me raceist and a biggot, but i only feel that way about a specific type of person and dont go around and shout obscine shit for no reason. you were well justified in handing him a heavy metal chair in the head (4 times).... I am almost positive that this man that had his ass handed to him donsnt think of it as agression... but more like a lesson well learned, sometimes people need to learn the hard way. I am sure that man will think twice next time he decides to make thoes kinda comments.

i dont think that the level of violence you went to was justified, BUT, on the other hand, when you stand outside and randomly call people n**ggers and f*gs, then you are looking for trouble. And you might just get it.
