Is It Normal?
What do you think?
Thought Inside My Head
Sometimes I just imagine screaming inside my head. It's like this sreetching scream and it's like I can't get it to stop and it's distracting and stuff. Oh and when I'm imagining something it won't go the way I want it. Like for example if I were imagining a guy walking down a street to go into the store it's like I couldn't be able to get the guy into the store. Does anyone else experience this. Or have any idea what I'm talking about.

This stems from you own sub consious perception of your own inadiquacies. The reason you cant get the guy in the store is because you doubt yourself. You require more self confidence to achieve your goals.

THOUGHT INSIDE MY HEAD
The statistics may not deem it normal, but I myself go through that too. I don't understand it, but find it frustrating when trying to day dream, fantasize or meditate. ADD? Would it be accurate to call these racing thoughts? All I want is to feel normal so I can fit in and go with the flow easier, so the higher the stats, the better when a topic relates to me! I’m sure this and many other topics are more normal than we think!
Are you sure there aren't bums or evil clergymen stealing your thoughts and replacing them with different ones?

Seriously, though, the person who said, "This stems from you own sub consious perception of your own inadiquacies. The reason you cant get the guy in the store is because you doubt yourself. You require more self confidence to achieve your goals," pretty much hit the nail on the head.

normal
its impossible to make a sound judgement on anyones psychological state based on one statement. however personally for me I experience similar "problems" with my mind when i am very tired, intoxicated or way overly physiologically aroused. For me it is controlling my working memory and consciously making an effort on what to concentrate on. Also ask yourself if you are over abusing a potent drug (drinking all the time, cocaine, psychedelics etc). I have settled down myself, however i know when i was using alot of diff. substances I had a really tough time focusing on what i wanted to focus on, and generating thoughts i interpreted as positive. For a while I thought i might have some problem, however i realized i was using alot, and i stopped, and it took about 6 months, however with living in moderation (not being abstinent) i can control my thoughts for the most part as i wish.
yes it is very normal i also go through this and have wondered why does this happen. Actually this is the very nature of our mind and it works like that. Whatever we tell it to do it tends to go in the opposite direction. I have heard this from osho and experiened this in many other things and this particularly. And then when that thing dosent happen for example i am thinking of some pattern in my mind to go a certain way which it was going naturally a few moments back when i was not paying enough attention to this fact, but as soon as i start to do it intentionally it just dosent happen, and something else starts happening which is completely opposite and then it feels like screaming.
