Hello, Im 14 and a MALE I have started puberty. And I have rather large chests I dont think its because I am fat because I am really fit. And behind it I can feel a lump type thing. Is this normal? And what can I do to fix this?.
I dont think its anything to worry about but you should see a doctor to make sure. You are looking down on yourself which could emphasize this. You may need some isometric exercise to remove a fat build up if you have one there
It's called Gynecomastia. Active breast tissue during puberty. It's more common than you think. No amount of weight-lifting or body-building will fix it - it has to be surgically removed. Sorry to rain on your parade - I've typed up a number of surgery reports where guys have had this done, even as old as their 60s. It's nothing to be embarassed about, but if you want to have it fixed, it doesn't make you less of a person.
Pretty much. There is no amount of exercise you can do to combat gynecomastia. Surgery is the only way to get rid of it. But, it may not be that. Are you heavy anywhere else? Belly, butt??
Try wearing a bra.
