Sounds like you got it made. I just get sick of all the men of the world laying down and letting the wife be the bread winner. What ever happened to having a pair of balls?

becouse i don't want to work all i was asking is if it was normal why work for someone that makes 10,000 on a job and I do the work in a week and only make 400 or 5oo dollars. I'll stay with cash jobs no taxes

If that's the case, why don't you take the risk with your own money, that's what people do when they start their own business. Haven't got any money? That's because you don't work.

So in answer to your question, yes it's normal if you're a bit of a loser.

Just dont sell things you need. And dont sell your boddy =)) Oh yeah make sure your wife doesent care if your selling your house away.

no i do not think that is normal. you should get a real job man, lucky for me I don't have to get one yet cause i'm still in school :D

You've been a stable presence for your kids, which is work, and you are otherwise self employed. You have your own down to earth idea of what is worthwhile work. If you are happy with that, and your wife is, then so what?

I'm the same age, and when I was going to school some years ago, my wife and I became custodial grandparents. It was rewarding to spend so much time with my granddaughter who was an infant and lived with us until her dad remarried (she was 7 then). I didn't work at that time, and we are fortunate that my wife works at home and makes a very good salary.

If the life you have works for you, then I say that's okay. Best to you, and hope your wife stays safe.
