Getting Fatter
Early July, I was getting ready for work, I was getting dressed,and I noticed that my jeans fit me very tight.I thought that that they must shrunk, but I also noticed a large overlapping beer belly.With my everyday stress I did't really notice how fat I was getting.After work I went to the Mall to buy new clothes,I had to buy a larger size in jeans,a drepressing 36s,for a man that only 22,that big!When leaving the mall I ran into a old friend,he told me,somebody getting fat.I went home upset, and did 150 sit ups.
Today, I stepped on the scale,it reads 220. 25 pounds fatter.
what should I do, go on a diet? or just let my self be fat?

just be happy for who you are, accept it, just buy bigger clothes, throw the old clothes away so they wont remind you of being thin. Laugh at life, most fatter people have great personalities, they dont usually care what others think.
It doesn't sound like you're happy being 'bigger' and unhappiness with body image can affect all different aspects of your life. so carry on doing those sit ups, and maybe some extra exercise, walk to work? go swimming?

But! if you are happy with your size, just stay healthy.
How tall are you, what kind of build do you have, and do you have much muscle?
With guys, it depends on how the fat spreads. Some guys only get the belly, some turn into a ball of flab.
Personally I like guys with a bit of a belly.

Do 500 sit up every day... i got six pack by push up and sit up. make sure u eat good food... little bit of sweet food but not everyday!

If you're 22, I'd say it's pretty likely that you've hit that point. Lots of guys can eat whole pizzas with an ice cream sundae for dessert every day, up until around 20-22. Once they're out of the puberty years for a while, that teenage metabolism slips away. At the same time, they're getting into jobs and becoming less active. If you feel healthy, there's nothing wrong with gaining a few pounds, but if you feel badly about yourself and want to keep yourself in good condition, getting to an optimal weight isn't a bad idea. Exercise and eat good foods (lean, green, and lots of variety) and if the pounds don't slip away, you're probably at a fine weight- and healthy.

Of course, if I gain a few pounds I usually try to lose it, primarily because I hate clothes shopping, so I understand your plight.

Im on adderall, and I can';t gain weight, even tho i eat as much as possible, ive lost 8 pounds in the last 3 months....
Don't take drugs. Bad way to lose weight. 25 pounds is nothing to freak out about. Like everyone else said, eat right, exercise, and you should balance out at the weight you should be at.

If you find time, just hit the gym, weights are the way forward! Means you can still eat the things you like.
Diets don't work! Change your eating and exercise habits.
