the cat must not yawn properly
Every time my cat is near me and she starts to yawn I quickly stick my finger in her mouth which surprises her out of the yawn so she pulls her mouth away from my hand and shuts it quickly. Is this normal behaviour?

For who? You or the cat? If you're a guy then we like to stick pointy things in holes its what we do! I think girls do that as well though. As for the cat, well if some1 stuck they're finger in my mouth while I was yawning I would be surprise or throw up or bite it or say wtf?
