Me and my first real boyfriend broke up recently, He said i didnt do anything wrong he just doesnt want a relationship...thats fine but i want to be friends, i've tried speaking to him twice now and he just ignores me but he said friends is ok. so why is he doing this! I feel used & confused. I understand he doesnt want anyone but is it so much to ask just to be friends. I must have done something wrong? I tried speaking to his friends about it but they said he wont speak about it and they dont know why they think its as harsh as i do. Its been about a month. Will we ever speak again? :( :(

Your boyfriend is being honest with you, he said you didn't do anything wrong and that he doesn't want a relationship. You can't make people like you, or want to be with you. All we can do is try to be friends with people. If one prefers to distance themselves from another that is out of your control. He made a choice, accept it and do not try to control him or change him, doing so will bring about resentment toward you. Do not beat yourself up either or blame yourself. Time is the greatest healer, move on and make other friends. There are plenty of guys out there who would truly want your friendship, seek and you shall find. Relax and Good luck!!!
