Is It Normal?
What do you think?
I am smart and very good looking , i have no life
So its like this . I graduated from high school last year where I had a considerable amount of friends . Now however I am at the local community college and most of them have gone off to 4 year schools . I have never been particually skilled in social situations but I did alright . I cant bring myself to talk anyone lately , even when my friends from high school come home for vacations I am afriad to make any effort to contact them . My social life has dropped to zero and I have lost a great deal of confidence in myself . Lately I have been finding myself beingterrified of the future and change . I have nightmares in which the better half involve my death , and those are the better ones . wtf is happening .

Your situation is quite common. The transition from high school to college is a lonely time for many and difficult to adjust to all the changes going on. What I suggest is for you to look for a counseling center at your school. Almost all colleges have counselors who are there to help. They will likely ask you to first complete a questionnaire (~30 minutes to complete)called the CAS (College Adjustment Scale). They will evaluate it depending upon your responses and will let them get an understanding of your background, your concerns and your adjustment to many things. Couseling Centers keep information confidential too, only in a crisis situation is your confidentiality not kept private, they will explain it to you more clearly. What they can do for you is help you adjust or if necessary refer you to someone who can address your issues of concern. You likely could use a helping hand, suggestions from an adult trained in this area is the right approach. Services provided are often free of charge at the college level. Please look into it. Good luck to you.
Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I liked to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys
Who were up to no good
Startin makin trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one lil fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in bel Air'

I begged and pleaded with her day after day
But she packed my suite case and send me on my way
She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket.
I put my walkman on and said, 'I might as well kick it'.

First class, yo this is bad
Drinking orang juice out of a champagne glass.
Is this what the people of Bel-Air Living like?
Hmmmmm this might be alright.

But wait I hear the pricey booze, wine all that
Is Bel-Air the type of place they send this cool cat?
I don't think sow
I'll see when I get there
I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air

Well, the plane landed and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like a cop and yelled my name out
I ain't trying to get arrested
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightening, disappeared

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I can say this cab is rare
But I thought 'Now forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air'

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later'
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air
The joke's gettin old HOJOTO
yeah try something original like...
pool's closed
it's called growing up.
it sucks.
I just graduated from high school in May. I feel the same way. I even found myself being depressed about it, it's a huge transition from being a child into an adult. Once you get out more and stop beating yourself up you will be alright. In your spare time don't sit around and think about it find something that can improve your social skills or first find something that pleasure's you,I no how you feel but we also need to have fun while were young.I hope my advice kinda helps.Stay in school too, or you will end up like all these other LOSER'S on here who didn't do anything in life but invest in a computer for their companion.Like the LONLEY ASS who typed the word's 2 fresh prince can you say LAME ASS!
Your problem is a common one. Many people get depressed when they first start going to college because that is when they realize they are fags.
yea its tough tough times .. and it suxs when their like is gona get worst
The exact same thing happened to my older sister. exactly. Is your name Jessica?
Sounds like, you need to build up you're confidence. Theres nothing better, than making new friends. I switched from secondary School to college, leaving all my friends behind. You just have to get out there and, be nice to people, they will be nice back :D :D. the more friends u make, the more ur confidence will grow! ^^
