How is it cheating to date more than one person? Cheating is when there is a marriage and a spouse plays around with others without consent. Date anyone you wish. Boyfriends and girlfriends come and go all the time. I also am not a believer in monogamy. Only marriage is intended to be a long term commitment and even that doesn't last long for the most part. Contradiction in her story, I would call it a friendship, not one of a serious nature as are most relationships among the young who have misperceptions of relationship longevity. And, in the eyes of the law, cheating applies to marriage, not boyfriend/girlfriend relationships.
