So I'm a mixed girl. Half white, half asian. All my friends tell me I'm beautiful. Even strangers tell me I'm pretty. I'm one of the more popular people at my school, and I have straight A's in the honor track classes.

A bunch of guys have been asking me out recently. I refused. Why? Because I have a crush on this one guy. He's one of the nerdiest guys in the whole school. All my friends say he's ugly, and I have to admit that he's not the definition of handsome. He's got pretty bad acne and thick glasses. On the popular ladder, he's the bottom rung. My friends all tell me I have bad taste in guys and that I should just forget about this "loser". Even though all the "hot" guys are interested in me, I just can't say yes to the other guys because I'm afraid of losing the guy I like.
Do you think I should just say "yes" to the popular guys?

Judging by the faux-modesty you employ throughout the duration of your entry, I'd say that you should be lucky he even looks at you.

I've honestly never read anything quite so stuck up.

I hope this guy wakes up to reality, as I don't know how anyone so "geeky" (and mentally, I equate this word with intelligence), could ever see anything beautifull in such a shallow person; then again, perhaps his "thick glasses" just aren't strong enough - or maybe he can't see from all the way down there on the "bottom rung".
