It is normal, as i also experience this. Isnt it obvious, some stranger is so close to you while in a private act, which we are not used to even in other normal situations. It is just a ignorance on part of the designers and architects and also lack of space these dasys and for optimum use of space in public buildings. Ideally it shoul be a comfotable distance apart or designed in such a way that you dont have an eye contact with the other person which is not the case in most of the places.

I used to have this. I started a trick where I would take a deep breath and let it out slowly while I started peeing. Using this trick I can start anywhere.

Perfectly normal, it's partly confidence. Although really in urinals if someone is standing next to you it's either because there's no other free one, he's trying to intimidate you (subconsciously or willingly) or he likes you, or is an evil scociopath who has no idea that it's considered rude to be right next to someone who's trying to urinate.

This is actually a psychological illness. I know the founder of the charity for people who cant urinate on demand, ie; at doctors, or in front of people, ie; at urinals. You are not abnormal. It's just one of those things

I think this is pretty normal.

I hate people standing behind me when I'm going for a piss and it will give me bashful bladder sometimes.

The best ways to get around this problem is to wait until you are absolutely dying for a piss and then nothing is gonna stop you. Additonally, you could try getting drunk but be careful you don't piss on your neighbours leg.

I think this syndrome is an evolved reflex to make us on our guard when we are in the vulnerable state of having a nice satisfying slash down by the river when there be beasties lurking in the water.

LMAO - Normal

Totally normal dude. Remember the urinal etiquette. If there are occupants, slick back the do, and wait for the coast to clear.

I'm lucky I guess, I don't have to stand up to pee or do it in front of everybody. However, I feel for ya altogether. This might be awkward, but maybe try going in a stall'' Screw it! Nobody has to know what your up to in there, RIGHT'! Give yourself a break, go for it!
