Psycho Nephew
My seven year old nephew told his mother that he wanted to stab her with a knife and kill her. Earlier in the week, he had watched 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' at a friend's house. Is his behavior normal?
If I were you I would buy a straight jacket now. You will have enough time to get a good deal on one if you act early. Trying to get one on the spot can be pretty spendy.
No, I would disagree with this methos fool. She obviously has never dealt with the criminally insane. He needs to be put down as soon as possible before he kills you.
Damn straight he will. Thas why i said put him down, I know where he is going. Its not easy to live when your a freaking psycho stalker. TRUST ME. TAKE HIM TO A SHRINK.
It's fine. Don't convict children of "thought crime." It's this kind of media-injected-paranoia that has all the parents blaming violent movies and video games for senseless adolescent crime and behavior when it is really lack of social communications and an inadequate public education system that's to blame.
It's normal but it is also prudent to have a talk with the child. Never panic.
While violent movies may not make everyone a psychopath killer, there have been experiments proving causation between exposure to violence and violent action. Maybe he should not be watching R rated movies just yet.
watch your back else one day you'll find yourself DEAD. My brother killed my boyfriend like that when he was 8. But then again he deserved it becayse he cheated on me with another man. im female.what a kn*b . ..
Unless your child is unusually angry or agressive as a rule, not letting him watch movies that fill his head with deadly violent behaviors should stop the comments. All people and especially children, spend plenty of time fantasizing. Whatever is in his head is what he's got to work with. So while I'd say that threatening to stab someone is not normal behavior for a child, it is normal behavior for one who just saw Texas Chainsaw massacre. (my little cousin got banned from videogames because he played x-men with us college-aged guys and then went home and tried to kick his little brother in the head. I know other little kids though that are perfectly able to separate make-believe from reality)
