Poster....in all total seriousness....

Why do you feel that you have to tell your parents'

What is it with people that are either gay or bisexual' Many feel that they have to tell their parents about it. Especially the bi end is really stupid. What purpose does it serve to tell your parents about your sexual preference' It isn't ANY of their business.

I don't ever recall hearing of heteros going up to their parents claiming their heterosexuality, so why should it be any different for you'

YOUR sex life is YOUR concern and NOT ANYBODY ELSES! Unless of course they are involved in it.

Seriously......wake up. There is absolutely no reason for you to even think about discussing this with your parents.

you're parents could possibably accept you, i mean they're your parents, they might not be happy about it at first but they will come to accept that, if someone stops loving you because you're bi then they never really loved you at all, give em' a chance and tell them.

You should probably tell them eventually, but why not wait until you're in a serious relationship with someone of your own sex (if you ever are)' That way it might seem more acceptable to them; in the meantime, they don't need to know who you (or any of us) are having sex with.

It depends on how your parents are. Bi people are just nasty and cant make up thier minds. I respect gay people over bi people. You're probably just horny. You'll have to make up your mind if you ever want to be in a meaningful relationship with someone.

Well, it can be a big problem for people, you're probably just better off not telling them, I don't think your dad or mom want a visual of some dude porkin' ya in the bum, I know I sure wouldn't if I had a son. I'd be like homer simpson and take him around as many sexy females as I could until he was 100% straight. Women being bi/lesbian are one thing, but for guys, it's just totally not natural. No offense or anything, but don't you feel a little feminine having a man's penis even near you' Just grosses me out.

dw mate.. Im 15 and i know for sure im bi.. however ive never done anything with a guy, barriers are holding me back atm.. but the feeling is there.

Im very lucky coz of my mums best friend is lesbian so i told her my situation and she knew exactly how i feel cos she was once a teenager and was once in my position so she offered me fantastic advice.

I said to my mum i need something to tell you, im not to sure how you are goint to react, but this is me, and if u feel u cant look at me the same way, so be it, but i will always be your son.. and just basically tell her..
I just had a fight with my mum before and she uses it against me cos she has nothing else to say dumb bitch..

But i never told my dad coz his a fucked wog and he would dis own me for sure. i dont think ill ever tell him.. it would disappoint him so much !

yeah, i agree that u really dont have to tell them shit. Its no ones business. I can understand why u would want to tell them, though bc maybe u feel like ur living a lie. I think its fucked up how any1 that deviates from our fucked up social norms is a social reject. Im sure your parents will still love u, but they may not accept that u are bisexual even though they should. Im sorry, i guess im not being of any help

If you told your friends it will likely get back to your parents, realize this. You don't have to tell anyone about your sexual orientation, it is a private matter, no one's business other than a person with whom you have a close, intimate relationship. Only your partner should be aware and has a legit right to know.
