I have smoked weed about 6 times in my life, and I found that although it makes things funnier, it also made me a bit more open to stuff boardering homosexuality.

First time I smoked, it was with a friend and after smoking, we went inside and watched Tv, and there was a girls gone wild commercial, and one of us asked the other if they minded if they masturbated (i forget >.>) and well, we kinda both jacked off right next to each other.

BTW, one of the reasons that the government says it's wrong is because people "lace" it with other drugs, which is why they call it a gateway drug and is how it "leads to other drugs" Of course they fail to mention that if it's 100% marijuana than it doesn't necessarily pose that type of problem. And you know, alcohol being one of the only legal drugs besides tobacco, is the #1 most abused drug in the world. So, I'm sure they've taken that into account as well that if it was legalized, marijuana would probably become #1 and because the effects last so long, and impair a person's ability to function correctly (I'm talking about the really good stuff) and the fact that it lowers a person's inhibitions and makes you lazy probably doesn't help the cause to legalizing marijuana any time within the next century in the U.S. That and the tobacco companies will shell out millions of dollars to make sure that it doesn't happen either.

Weed is not only a drug to have some fun... it can be used as an enhancer as well... it increases the blood flow to the brain so if you use it for the correct reasons, you can have some awsome results with it. SOME people actually do come out and admit what they do.. i forget his name but i'm pretty sure the CEO/president of progressive car insurance is a smoker... and he supports norml , not sure if it was progressive or geico.. but one or the other.

It's not as harmful as the media makes it out to be, alcohol and cigarretes are MUCH worse for your body than weed. If you dont keep up with the current news youd be outraged to find out that in other countries they have found some chemicals in marijuana to actually TARGET and kill CANCEROUS cells... while leaving healthy ones untouched. Its funny how we might have the cure for cancer under our noses the whole time.. and end up persecuting people that smoke it... spending around 9 billion dollars a year (wasted) to enforce anti-pot laws.. for a drug that really isnt that harmful.. in fact potentially medicinal.

Its easy to say marijuana leads to the use of other drugs. Do you know what they forget to mention? Everyone that has tried weed before moving on to the other drugs... has also tried ALCOHOL before. So in reality.. is weed really the gateway drug... or is it alcohol. Think about it. Also everyone that smokes weed started by drinking water before!!!! I GUESS WATER IS A GATEWAY DRUG!!! DO you see where im going with this? It is a baseless argument to make a correlation between weed and doing other drugs. There is no real reason, its just propaganda to make the drug look bad.

Other reasons why weed has not been legalized that you might not know of? Ill be glad to enlighten:

Hemp.. the material that you can make from weed plants is one of the strongest and best materials to use (in clothings, backpacks , bags, luggage , etc.) The government we all love has lobbyists that represent companies in these industries. So what would you guys think would happen to all the companies that already have an assembly line in place (with cotton or w.e other legal materials are used now) if weed all of a sudden was made legal?

Their bussiness would be in trouble by people that can push items into the market for CHEAPER... for BETTER quality items. Hemp thread is very strong.

So is it starting to become clearer now? Politicians are at the mercy of lobbyists to fund their campaigns. If a politicians supports a lobbyists cause.. they get supported by the lobbyist. The government isnt stupid. There is plenty of people out there that KNOW the truth about marijuana and legal issues about it.. but those politicians are STILL at the mercy of lobbyists. It is not in the best interest (financially) for a lot of politicians to support marijuana law reform. There are some politicians that still support it in the face of all this.. and those are the guys that you have to admire...

Marijuana should definitely be legalized. Maybe people wouldnt kill each other over it so much like they do back where I'm from. Also, it's a great remedy for glaucoma and for people with eating disorders.

i love smokin bud it makes me feel good, my grades have been higher since i started smoking more, im happier than ive been in a long time. if weed was legalized we could make it clean and safer, and we could tax it and the gov would make alot of money, though the first few years would be hell because people would be using it too much, but after a while people would get used to it like alcohol.

They actually studied this in Oregon back in the 70's and 80's. (Oregon was the first state to ever decriminalize marijuana) I'm 90% sure it was Oregon. Even when decriminalized... marijuana use did not go up... contrary to what you might think. In Amsterdam too, marijuana use is the same OR LOWER than it was before when it was illegal.
