In our politically correct world the word racism is misused and wrongly used to label people. You don't have to like all groups of people but tolerance is commendable as is respect. Disliking a group of people doesn't make you racist. Racists believe racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. If you feel superior to Indian then I would label you a racist otherwise I'd call you an intolerant person, but not necessarily stupid. There is also nothing to correct.
I think its normal to have concerns about people who are not the same race as us. Have you ever spoken to Indians and trying to understand them more? Try to get to know people properly before making judgements on them. Some Indians are genuinly nice people and make very loyal friends. The same can be said of all nationalities, there is good and bad in us all. Next time you have these thoughts consider what I have said, hope this helps..
I think all people are racist to a certain extent it's a normal behaviour or rather a reaction to your environment. If your culture is encroached upon or nullified by another it is perfectly natural to dislike the people responsible.
No, Sisophus, racism does not mean that. Racism means the belief that race is a root cause for different abilities and charateristics in a person (sometimes therefor thinking that one race is superior to another) *AND* it means the hatred for, intolerance of, or prejudice against any particular racial group. So by that definition, yes the post writer has a racist view. I admit to having them myself from time to time. It is not surprising given the atmosphere that we are all raised in.
I applaud the post writer, however, as he/she has obviously noticed that this prejudice is an incorrect and racist view. This is a very admirable thing to have done, and it is the first step in changing your own mind. Take some of the worthwhile advice from the serious commenters above and try to think about your own prejudices and how you might change them.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to be amongst those who considser your own. Wether that be whites blacks ect. And many of you forget many sterotypes have their origin in truth. There are genetic diffrences between the races and some of these diffrences do involve intelligence and behavior. Despite what the PC crowd will tell you. Hate however is a very diffrent thing the acknowledging facts. Even if there not very palatable ones. I won't go so far as to say that hatred of of a group of peoples is "wrong" I say this because who are we to tell other people how to think or feel. I won't even call such a person ignorant because their hatred of race might of came about the same as someones hatred of an individual. Thats their right to their beliefs. However beliefs and actions are related but separate. One acting on this hatred especially with violence I'd say that is morally "wrong", and that IMHO would constitute racsism. Though I think it should be noted in our current society we make the mistake of forcing people to associate with races of people they wouldn't care to associate with if given the choice. That in its self breeds hatred. We should all be free to live amoung and work with whom we choose even if we define it racially.

It's a wrong view and it makes you ignorant.
Why would you hate a whole group of people?
and sterotypes are sterotypes.
Most people don't fit the "mold".
& if you think they do, you need to get outisde of your "bubble".
