Is It Normal?

Why are people just so jealous
In this world people are just so jealous of one and other. Why do people compete with one and other all the time. Why do they want more or to be better than the next person. Why cant they just be happy for other people without having to be jealous of them. I have found that whatever I have gained from the life, some other person has a problem with it or tries to compete with me even family members. Also I find when I am feeling happy about some aspect of my life, some jealous person does something to try to mess it up, does anyone else have this happen to them?

Jealousy is actually an important emotion and if used in the right manor can be a very useful motivation tool. Its unhealthy when jealousy is turned into a weapon and used against another person rather than being utilised as a motivator. Most lazy people are very jealous and dont use this emotion to there avail, thus hurting or backstabbing anyone doing better than themselves.
they're greedy little bastards
can you?
I often get a good laugh when people run out and but a better computer of phone than I have but then dont know how to use it that happens a lot here
Jealousy makes the world go round.

Sadly.
Misery loves company and they feel unless they have what you have, you need to be just as miserable as they are. It's just people and life and that will NEVER change. It's in our blood to compete. That's called the survival of the fittest. Though in this day and age it's become pus*ified and people compete over mundane things. Men in the old days used to compete over who killed the biggest animal. So don't worry, it's normal, gotta learn to live with it I'm afraid.
I know how you feel.Although i am in a relatively low paid job, through living at home i was able to save up enough money to buy a brand new high performance car for cash, and later a new pick-up.I noticed certain peoples attitudes towards me change, with comments like:"Huh,icant afford to buy new cars like you"instead of just being happy for you.Hell,it wasnt as if i was bragging or anything.
24hourman,UK
If I'm honest I'd just say its us English and American people, we've fucked up the world, here in the UK, if your good at something, everyone'll bring you down, if you bad at something, you'll never hear the end of it... The world's fucked mate :(
the trick is not to be happy and have shit things then no-one can be jealous of you. people will always try and drag you down to thier level its human nature
Lack of self esteeem...
I didn't even have to read this whole story. Jealousy is just a natural emotion humans have.
human nature
My jealousy goes this far - 'Jeeze that girl is HOT', 'Wish my ...(part of body)... was like hers'. Any changes I make are for me not to out beat anyone. Just so you know there are other types of jealousy. I had a friend years ago that use to try copy everything I did, while it was flattering at the same time it was annoying. There's another type.
SOMETIMES, BUT THEY'RE JUST FAGS
You are the master of your own destiny you are obviously letting them fuck your life up
