I think i shit too fast

ok, so when My family needs to take a dump it usually takes them a long while to do so. for me, it only takes like 10 to 20 seconds. Is this shitting normal???

Sisophous would have to ask and weigh several variables in addressing bowel movements and their their time duration to reach completion.

1. Do you eat high fiber foods or low fiber foods? High fiber foods can speed the bowel movement whereas a low fiber diet would have the opposite effect.

2. Is your body large in size and carrying excess weight or are you thin and lean for your height? People who tend to be overweight spend far longer time having a bowel movement than those who are lean.

3. Do you drink plenty of liquids throughout the day? Those who do are more apt to have a higher frequency of bowel movements and ones which are much faster than those who are not well hydrated.

4. It could also be those who spend long periods on the toilet are reading as it is a private place of solitude, free from interruptions. In other words, they could get off the toilet but prefer to sit there at their leisure.
