I just want to know... is it normal to think that life has almost no meaning? Or to not believe in god but still celebrate Christmas for giving?

Of course it's normal. Many humans make their own meaning though, so I suppose it's up to each individual to find a meaning of their own. As for Christmas, I guess that's up to each individual as well.

Not being emo is somewhat abnormal these days though.

Depends on what you mean by "meaning".

If you think the daily activities of a slave has more "meaning" than those of a freeman because a freeman has not been given orders and can do what he wants, whereas a slave has been given orders and tasks that he must complete, then yes life without God has no meaning.

Quit possibly, the Meaning of life is whatever the hell I decide it is.

i have felt that way before, but i believe in God. its simply absurd in my mind that there is no God, or something or someone out there. How would there be any sort of lifeform, or anything at ALL for that matter without something or someone to create it?

id consider it normal as hell, and like everyone said before me, life is what you make it, YOU give it the meaning. if you dont, it has none =p
