every one gets spots, its all part of growning up, to be honest wearing the cover up is going to hinder your spot problem as it will clog up your pores, just make sure you wash and dry your face and use cleansing lotion to remove the grease under your skin. also if anyone noticed you wearing cover up, it could create other problems for you.

I did the same thing as an adolescent when I had acne problems. I have no idea what is on the market now as far as acne products are sold, but I recall a product named "Clearasil" that is a combination acne reducer and coverup that both guys and girls used. This product did not mention anything about it being coveup but it was colored similar to skin to hide blemishes. I even purchased some plain makeup, identical to my skin color to cover up embarrasing acne on my face.

You also may want to try using (Isopropryl) rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs to clean your skin pores. Any pharmacy sells the rubbing alcohol and it's inexpensive. I found it works great to clear up skin, but the bad side is that it does dry out skin fast.

A trip to a dermatologist is often a big help. I used to visit them often to control acne. The downside to seeing such a doctor is the expense for the visits and the medication they will prescribe.

Acne is caused by one thing; bacteria. Putting concealer over it is a sure way to make it worse because it creates an environment where the bacteria can multiply and spread more easily.

There is a product called Benzac 10 which you can get over the counter at pharmacies (don't need a prescription though) which is ridiculously good.

Make sure you wash your hair often and your pillow cases, use an exfoliating facial scrub to wash your face NOT soap & then Benzac and you should be spot free in about three weeks.

Proactiv (as seen on T.V) also works it contains the same ingredient as Benzac (Benzol Peroxide) only in lower dosage.

It's normal to wan't to cover up your spots but far better to cure them. It takes about two weeks to break the bacterial life-cycle then after that you're home free.

You can still use concealer but the process will take longer. Good luck.
