Loving... History?

I'm a full blood Irish American. I have either a love or an obession with Chineese history. It's just so detailed and interesting! I've read a 120 chapter book called 'The Three Kingdoms' multiple times. I used to join various discussion forums, and the other day I gasped when I saw the book 'The Art of War' at a store and dished out the 16 dollars to buy it even though I still didn't have a job.

Of course this sounds bad, but is this a normal hobby/intrest? Or am I crazy?
