From a young age you learn what is right and what is wrong. Also, what is normal and what isn't. Example: -

1. My pen is black and has an Olympic swimming pool on the end of it.
2. My dog chases cats, licks his own arse and reads newspapers while playing chess.
3. French people smell of garlic and onions but they also live in play-dough trees.

These are just examples but you know what I mean.

normal is conforming to the standard of the common type. So walking on your hands as a means of transport is not normal. Shitting your pants isn't normal. Being skinny is not normal (cause there are more fat people than skinny people now).

I weigh 500 lbs have blue hair and kill small animals as a passtime while eating pickles on steak roasted medium rare.

I guess we are equally normal then.

how ironic! a post about posting...on a website where you are posting about how dumb the website is! if you dont like it dont use it! sometimes it really helps people,not to be rude but in my opinion his is a wonderful site and almost the only place where people are semi-nice o other people and almost never judge people(with the exception of smithee,but the people are just setting themselves up with these posts,there retarded,histerical and just plain insane!)but then again thats just my opinion,and if you really didnt like the website you would start a petition or just not use it,one person can make a difference...hope you get some therapy in the near future...emma

its to make people feel comfortable about themselves

kinda understand where ur coming from.
but people have things happen to them and sometimes feel like they're the only ones going through that, when infact there are people who go through it too.

it is for the purpose of somebody being able to talk about personal problems or just something they need advice on and for other peoples opinion it dosnt mean normal it basically is for people to see others are the same as them somewhere in the world no matter what the problem addiction or story there is always somebody similar who will say "yes i have done that" or "yes thats happened to me do this...." and people who posted it will feel more secure for some obsurd reason but it will and does help although you get the ocassional tit who likes posting saying every1 on this site is a freak and trying to make you feel insecure but they are usually ignored. with love lucy xx
