Brotherly Love

I am starting to "date" my step brother who is in prison. He has 4 more years to serve. We love each other and I have no problem waiting for him to get out but our parents are against it. Is it ok and normal to date your step brother?

Well, are you a guy or girl? Guy: your options are slim in most states, less normal than girl. Girl: if you love him and you are sure he is only your STEP brother, go for it. Also you don't have to pay for a name change!

I have to say that it isn't normal. I mean, your situation is not one that many people even *could* find themselves in. But in this case, whether or not its normal isn't really an issue. It's whether or not YOU think it's right. But i can pretty much promise you that most people out there will not be open-minded enough to accept it if you two decide to get married or whatever...

why are some people so stupid.

There are no genetic similarities through family in a step brother/sister.

It is ok to date them and marry,e.t.c.

they will have normal kids.

Incest is blood relatives as close as real brother or sister or parents etc.

The stepbrother bit isnt a problem however getting involed with a criminal is you will live to regret it. Ditch the yardbird and get an honest decent partner.
