Indian people
Hello, this is not a racist post although it may have some elements of bias because I am human. I don't know whether Udi is Indian but if so its irrelevant. I want to say that I have very little sympathy for this business about Shilpa getting bullied. I am half chinese half english and I have been bullied a massive amount by Indians in the past. If the Indian community do not want racism directed at them then it is hypocritical for them to direct it at me. It is cowardly to gang up against one person all the time. My health has seriously deteriorated. I get it. You finally think you have a winning hand that you can increase in number and get stronger and unite against a racist society. However, it is completley unacceptable and racist to bully people like me and other races. Did china ever invade india uhhh no. What then is the problem with me. I used to have quite a lot of Indian friends but I have cut them all off one by one now because I am getting tired of being constantly screwed over and over and over again. Whether it be light bullying, intense bullying, stealing, lying, whatever. It is just ridiculous. If there are any Indian people who want to comment then please do so cos this kind of behaviour is just insane.
I am of indian extraction and I know first hand how indians can be. But we are not all like that.
indians generally hang about in clicks, so if you are mates with one you are generally mates with all of them and yes what one does the others do too. This is all encomapssing to word deed and thought. This is because they dont look outside their communities or clicks and their peer group is all that matters.
Some of us however have been brought up quite differently and have lived outside of the communities and clicks, so have a different outlook.
I have spent much of my life being called a coconut (brown on the outside but white on the inside!) by most of the indians I have ever met, this is due to the fact that I was always encouraged by my parents to have friends regardles of differences.
In some ways it has been an advantage, but it does sadden me that I can be abused for having close friends who dont happen to be brown.
I have also worked successfully in areas traditionally seen as highly racist environments without having any major problems at all.
This is all due to attitude. Most indians/coloureds/etc i have found are more than willing to play the race card at any moment, but dont realise that everyone gets ribbed, and people are only looking for a rise out of them, but they just make the problem worse by making themselves in to victims of racism, i have seen this first hand. if it is endured with good humour (which I knwo from experience is very difficult at first), it drops away surprisingly quickly and acceptance occurs naturally as it does with anyone who is new and is getting ribbed.
When it comes to big brother and Shilpa, personally I dont think it was racism, I do however think it was playground bullying of the worst kind. This is typical of girl's behaviour in british playgrounds. It also however reflects on the asian community's clickiness (?not sure if that is a word) I know many indians/asians who lodged complaints who hadnt even watched the show but who had only heared of what was going on.
I know this post isnt going to change your mind about indians, I am also quite sure that my post might just generate more abuse from people who think my point of view is a load of boll*ks.
But mate, there are indians about who do think for themselves and dont fit the traditional stereotype.
and i kinda aggree with dukepost indians are pussys just push off thoese little rags on their heads and they will bow down to ala for forgiveness
unless of course like dukepost said your not of a strong dominant race like americans or germans or evan any race whites are more dominant than indians pshhh
hope i made you more racist bye btw i accept asians some times
