i went through similar stuff, i guess is a matter of you showing yourself how you would like things to be. try to follow those day dreams, be "your own parent". (if these parent figures you dream about are telling you to do good things) sounds weird or stupid, but who is the best theacher to you than yourself? i dont know if you are happy or not with your parents, but maybe it is not exactly as you think it should be.
i dont want to tell you not to follow your parents, you should!!, but have another light on your path...

I don't know why you have these daydreams, but I can tell you that it isn't unchristian. I wouldn't worry about it, I think it's normal, but I've never actually had a daydream of that sort so I can't say for sure.

The likely cause of these dreams is to supplement our montonous, tedious, boring lives most of us live and replace our real life with fictitious characters to create excitement.

This is nothing to worry about, rather it shows you are creative and able to find pleasure by using your mind.

I found many full-time at home housewives find daytime soap operas so much fun to follow because it provids them with stimualation that is not found for the most part in their real life. Let's face it, soap operas have all types of characters, many leading adventurous lives and planning dastardly deeds that makes them an enticement and so popular.

So, keep on doing as you are, and quit worrying.

hun you really just crave a good father figure. you may already have a dad... but ask youself this: is he loving and supportive? does he discipline you when you've done something wrong or does he just not care?
