yes, unfortunately some people don't use protection, and it can be spread through things like rape. Sometimes people don't even know they have one and spread it because they think they are clean and dont need a condom. So basically always, always use a condom.

To understand why STDS will never go away we have to picture a scenario.
Imagine only one person on this planet had an STD, and we didnt know which one that would be.

Would you be careful in such a world?

Imagine the opposite, where 80% of all people have it, and you dont.
Youre never gonna screw anyone without getting him/her checked first.

So the stds will remain in an equilibrium for a long time to come, when it gets to widespread, people turn careful, when it gets rare, people turn careless.

There are many other factors as well like seriousness of the disease, curability, hideability etc affecting how much it spreads.

What im trying to ask really, is how can our generation get stds unless we get it from our previous generation >.>

dragoon ,you don't seem to get what we're all trying to say. People that were unsanitary maybe got it from someone else. Then they pass it on to generations that are here and now. It just keeps spreading because people don't realize they have the disease, fuck some more and it spreads. With the information going out now in schools about the diseases, you would think they'd be more aware, but this kinda thing still goes on and it will probably further spread into more and more generations!

a sexually transmitted disease doesnt mean that is can only be gotten sexually, it just means it can be transmitted sexually as opposed to say sickle cell anemia or leukemia.certain stds can be transmitted from mother to child during birth,if not genetically,like herpes while passing thru the birth canal.
