dude its not JUST today, people have been cussin just as much as they did in the 70's hell mabey even the 60's

Whenever I find myself swearing too much, I try to make a mental note to substitute that word with another similar sounding word whenever I go to say it. This seems to work for me.

It seems to be normal for the younger generation (it is an immature behavior), most folks out grow it when they get out the real world.

I think cussing is bad. I don't cuss but my dad always cuss every sentence he says. When people or my dad cuss at me, I feel very angry. I think those words are very strong to me. I feel that they don't respect me. My friends do too, but I know when they just say it for fun. If they yell at me for real and say bad word. I'll be mad.

It's the natural evolution of language, thought and culture. Over time words become less offensive it's just that the process has been massively accelerated due to electronic media.

In Australia we now have a large amount of priveledged white kids who speak as though they grew up in South Central L.A because they think it's tough to mimic a culture that has fuck all to do with them.

When Japanese people come to Australia they always learn how to swear fist because their language doesn't contain any swear words and they think it's a novelty.

So if you can't beat 'em join 'em just try to use swear words that are culturally authentic to you so we don't all end up sounding like Ice-Cube!

i rarely cuss. i used goddamn alot, i dont consider it a cuss word though. psychologically, people may think they sound tougher when they cuss, but all i see is someone who hasnt matured yet.

think about it, 100 years ago words that we use today would have been considered horrible. its just the evolution of language

i don't swear unless i get hurt. if i'm angry i take a walk or punch a hole in my wall. (cheap walls)

Seriously, I am trying (two children - passing a very bad habit on). I've managed to take GD out of my vocabulary (several years ago) and I'm working on using "fuck" only in the bedroom. :)

I don't cuss much unless I like hurt myself or do something stupid. I don't mind that much around myself but it think its jus crude around a lot of people.

cussing is stupid i mean if you say it every 1 in a awhile when your really p.o. then its ok but having every other word be F or S its retartedseriously i know people who have to have every ither word be fuck so. but you know every one lives there life difrent so w.e

society gives words bad meanings.... i can say fuck and people will get offended... but i can say frick, and that's not bad... even though they mean the same thing.
I live in an area where most people know french as a second language, and if i swear in french, it's bad. But when I swear in spanish or german, or japanese... no one cares. I dont get society.
