Is It Normal?
What do you think?
OCD?...
I am an EXTREME perfectionist. If the DVD's aren't lined up properly, I have to fix it. If I didn't wash my hands RIGHT before I brushed my teeth, I have to wash them again. I have to write every number precise. I have to spin around in my computer chair. I have to have every speck of food off the counter before I cook. Structures have to be shaped right. No one can touch me accidentally. I any of these things go wrong-I FIX THEM or FREAK OUT!!! Is this normal?....Do I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder/Neurosis?...

Indeed young one, you seem to have hit the nail on the head. Did you know that perfectionists do not live long lives nor rewarding ones. They more often are frustrated and unhappy.

I suggest you make a conscious effort to mess things up and refrain from fixing them. Put a towel on the hanger crooked. Place a shoe on the floor at an angle toward the other. Leave some food out on the table countertop and unsealed.

Try to get some rigorous exercise, it will help relax your mind and free your body. You are too preoccupied with petty miniscule things. If you do not seem able to cope, then seek professional help.

Your descriptions sound like serious issues that go far deeper than you articulate.
Oh no I also love spinning in my chair and like to count the amount of times a day I masturbate. Am I also OCD?
meh, normal
no fantaininfinite, you're just retarded. sis is right, it sounds serious. There are medications out there that are for OCD. It sounds like you might have it, check in with your doctor.
Don't call me a retard u shitbreak.
Don't worry about it and "go with it". I had and still have OCD. I never took meds for it as I have a fear of pills-(a part of my OCD). I'm a lot better than I used to be. It kind of "fixes" itself over time but never goes away it seems. I still wash my hands til' they crack and bleed, but take care of them with lotion etc. the best I can.
Bottom line: Go with it, whatever makes you feel "right". Everyone is different, and there's nothing wrong with being "different".
Take a huge dump on your kitchen counter and see how long you can resist cleaning it up. If you can walk away, you're fine.
It is normal, but you will soon find that perfection has a price. You will lose your love, most precious person or any other for your 'problem' will feel them with self-conscious thoghts. You must learn to feel at ease with some of the dissatisfactions of your life.
dude you just made my day!
One girl I dated was obsessive/compulsive. She was just incredible in bed - obsessed with sex. But the rest was hard to take.
i dont count. srry
No you have aids, im sorry
It sounds like you do.

If you don't want to live with it you'll need to seek a professional to help you learn how to control it.

Good luck!
LOL
