Nicotine patches is probably the best way.
Go cold turkey, no more forever! It may be hard but do whatever it takes, cause living without smoking is way better than running the risk of cancer or a heart attack!
I just lit one and its beautiful full rich flavor is smothering my lungs.....AHHHHH magnificent tobacco.
i quit cold turkey. it was a nightmare. but i would never hve been able to quit otherwise.
I've tried gum and other replacement theropies without much success. Gave up cold turkey before xmas and haven't a ciggie since. (Mind you, I've only been out once.)
There this crazy new shot I herd of and it gives you a 50% chance of quitting compared to the 3% just cold turkey.
Heyylooo...:D :D im tyring to beat smithee... gimmie 3 months and ill win :D PATRICK STAR IS FIIIT!
go on the path or the gum, or the fake in hailer is the best way , ask your pharmasist about it
Tough it out. Get away from other people, b/c you're probably going to be a miserable ass hole for a while.

Then come back when you're all better.

well they say the 3ard day is the hardest withdrawl
eat a cigar, smoking is not good
You might try the nicotine gum or lozenges. I know about 5 people who quit sucessfully with them. But you have to WANT to quit and be willing to wean off the doses of nicotine. As for just coping with the cravings? FYI, the nicotine is OUT of your system in like 72 hours so you only have a physical problem for 3 days. Grit it out and you'll survive. For me it's the physical activity I crave. I can go for weeks without smoking but I never seem to really quit. Something that helps is chewing gum, eating sunflower seeds or peanuts. Just keep your mouth busy with something that interferes with smoking I guess. Good luck!
If you drink anywhere near regularly, then you have no chance in hell unless you have the most iron of wills. That is what it comes down to: How mentally tough you are.
