How do you know if you're in love?

Girls would say "love takes a long time" And it fucking does to them. I dated my last girlfriend for 5 months, dfuring the summer. SEEING HER EVERY FUCKING DAY, LITERALLY. Finnally I tell her I love her, and bam she dumps me.

You are desperate if all you can think about is getting off with this person and getting yourself off in the process. You are in lust when you're around this person and you get horny but when you aren't around you aren't and you don't even think about them. You are in love when all you can think about is this person in a nonsexual way. Do something with this person sexually and then analyze your feelings after that. Hell, do it twice or tree times or however many times it takes to get the fucking out of your system. After that is done, then you'll know how you feel. You can not base your decision on an animal instinct. After your physical need is out of the way, if you are still swooning thats the first sign. When you are around this person and you are willing to do anything for them, no matter the consequences, sign number two. Robert Palmer said it best: "You're throat is tight, you can't breath, there's no doubt you're in deep...you can't eat, you can't sleep...another kiss is all you need." If this person truly changes your mood then you are affected by them emotionally...another sign. Also, no matter how this person treats you...including negatively and you *still* want to be around them even after your physical need is met and the puppy love is gone....you have it bad for this person. Be very careful coz emotions are a dangerous thing and will make you do stupid and crazy things.

My idea of love is that you can't see yourself without that person in your life. You feel an instant connection with the person at all times, even when you're angry at them. Every moment you're away from that person, you feel sad and the only thing to make it better is to be with them again. You want to spend every waking minute with the person in fear that each day may be your last. And so on and so forth. Love is a very complicated thing and doesn't even really classify as an emotion. But when you're truly in love, you will know it, there's really no other way to explain it. Someone can't tell you if you're in love, only you can make that decision.

what you do if you think you are in love is you marry the person. struggle through lean times, work to build a life, have a bunch of kids, watch them grow and go off on their own. this should take about 25-30 years.

then take a good look at the other person. if looking at them doesnt make you want to puke or run off to a distant island, then you are in love

you justknow.. sometimes you don't and its your brain saying "oh well.. best i can get"

I think that love is when you want to be with this person every minute of your life and you cant live without them

you never want to be apart from them and when you have an argument you cry all the time

and when you dont see them you just feel miserable and wish you were with them

and when you are with them you are always happy, you can talk to them about anything and trust them with your life

when they talk to you, you cant help looking into their eyes all the time. And when/if you get the chance to kiss them you will feel like you are in heaven and never want to let go of them.

And what is most important if you have all theese feelings about a person you should tell them, i know its scary i had the experience, i told them over msn and now we are really close and they told me that they felt the same way. But if you cant live without them you should tell them because if they find someone else, it ruins your life you feel like pure shit, i know what it feels like because it has happened to me before, i nearly killed myself but now we are together. :--)
