Help me

Ok well my boyfriend asked me to go to the dance with him but I don't want to. I don't like going to dances because well I don't like to dance. I'm afraid that if I don't go he'll get mad at me and break up with me. What should I do?

I know the dilemma, I always hated dancing too while nearly every girl I dated wanted to dance. If you really dislike it, then pick which is more important to you. Is it staying friends with this boy more important or not having to go to dances? I do not know how important his friendship is to you.

Dating is all about finding someone who is most compatible with our own interests. You are probably better off finding a boy who shares your interests. Not all guys or girls for that matter like dancing. It's your choice to make, no one elses.

Why does everyone have this hang-up with dancing? I find that if I find the right girl I'm more than happy to dance with her.

Roger, think of some things you hate to do. Then imagine participating in such activities that are borderline painful to engage in. I've taken dance lessons, hoping I would get to like it and possibly change, but it never happened. I'll dance on a rare occasion, but I hate it.

My pleasure, I've been down the same road many times. If you are comfortable around your boyfriend, you may want to dance together, prior, in private, in a bedroom with similar music you will find at the dance. This will help relax you. It's also better to quit thinking about it, and pay attention to no one else. The people on the dance floor aren't looking at anyone else on the floor, but their partner. The people seated don't really care how anyone dances, either.

you should go, if he loves you he wont care if u cant dance, he'l enjoy ur company. Tll him you dont like dancing, but youl go for him and just knowing your there for him even though you dont ona dance will make him even happier
