Dude scientologists are the ones you have to look out for , they've straight up murdered people by torture/locking them in a room to die from dehydration, and then get away with felony charges . Im not kidding google the name Lisa McPherson.

For the most part, all of those groups seem to want to take thigns away from people. Liberals generally are in favor of granting more rights to more people. Sure, there's some things they oppose, like guns, but on the whole, liberalism seems to be the pursuit of as many freedoms as possible. Which is largely a good thing.

Moderates exist. You just tend to notice the extremes more. Also, in times where there are more noticeable extremes, people also tend to become more polarized. It's like a snowball rolling down a hill.

As for the first question, I think they're all equally bad. If I had to pick, I may pick the liberal as being the safest, but you never know, because radicals can be just as bad.
