Comment flagging

Udi, could you explain the comment flagging system to me? It doesn't make sense to me.

Where lies the confusion?

The basic idea is that everyone can flag comments. I do 2 things with the flags:
1) I display a measure of how many of each type of flag each person has received on their profile (there's some voodoo there to automatically get rid of personal attacks that I'm still tweaking, so the numbers might change a bit)

2) If a particular comment gets flagged as abusive by a certain undisclosed number of people, it will get hidden.

I want to know why stats for each user suddenly decrease from time to time.
