French hatred
I'm french (from Canada) and I'm a bit tired of the 'french haters'... Frenches helped Americans during the war for independence against the British... They fought along Americans in World Wars... They give Americans the "Statue of Liberty" but, simply put : What's the difference between a French and an English? Both are HUMANS, having a SHORT TRIP on planet earth, trying to make this trip as enjoyable as possible, but, one is living this trip speaking French, the other one, English... In the end, both will die...We should concentrate on what we have in common, not the contrary... :)

Just a note: The Frrench didn't really help us in world War 2, they were kinda crushed by the Germans and we had to help them along with the British. Although they did put up a good fight in world War 1

For a start, the words French & World Wars just dont go together.
France & Occupied go together though, because thats what you did, sit back and let the Germans make themselves at home.
Meanwhile, the British had to sneak over the channel, get bombarded by the Germans before eventually overcoming the Germans to save the French's bone idle back sides.
I was infuriated when they built the channel tunnel, I personally would have built a four hundred foot high wall with a million vaults running through it instead of a tunnel.
The British gave you freedom and in return you gave us illegal immigrants and prior to that, the threat of rabies.
Britian, tiny small island had to leave our own shores to bail out the French in their own back yard.

So it wasn't just France that got overrun.
And secondly, they deserved to be overrun.
It's not like there was any doubt about the intentions of this allied army... the allies had already declared war.
And they had declared it using a pretext that doesn't make any sense.
I just try to get them better informed about how things really were.
They were like this, the Nazis rounded up millions of jews, drove them to cruel labour, split mothers from children, wives from husbands and then gassed them.
& The Allies came in to eventually defeat this evil race.

My grandfather fought in the war and he had several medals which he passed to me prior to him sadly passing away. I always remember when he spoke of the war, he spoke fondly of many of the UK's Allies but he always spoke of the French with a forked tongue and I think he was qualified enough to comment being as he was actively involved.
The French did f*** all with regards fighting, they sat around waiting and praying the Allies would bail them out.

Poland was a dictatorship created by the allies where people had been executed by the tens of thousands, or ever since 1919, for the sole crime of speaking their thoughts.
Millions of Germans were denied to live under democratic Germany of 1919 and placed under dictatorial Poland specifically to make Germany weaker and more divided.
The British, knowing they could drag the usa with them, were going to destroy Germany if the German people would unite.
Divide and conquer was the heart of the British foreign policy for centuries.
The Scots, the Irish, the Africans, the middle east and pretty much all of Asia and Africa has, over the centuries had to pay for that.
If the war had been about fighting evil, the allies would not have supported Joseph Stalin.
He had just finished murdering 15 million people.
If it had been about the polish regime, the allies also would have declared war on the Soviet Union as well, for it invaded Poland as well.
Kinda weird when two empires split up a country and thats used as an excuse to declare war on one of them.
Gives it away that the stated reason is not the real one.
So yes, defending a dictatorship the allies had created themselves to weaken Germany was a lame excuse to throw the world into an all out war.
And obviously just a pretext.
Of course, such scribes do justice enough to give excuse for the Nazis to gas millions of innocent folks.

Just read the first four clauses, they're very interesting. And it's probably all true except for Germany's will in WWI (paragraph 1).
Another case in support of him is that right after WWII the allies gave Palestine to the Jews.

Having said that, back at the heading of this post is the argument for likeing the French.
My opinions of the french during the war will never be altered, just as the majority of the UK's wont, they will always be the 'lazy, occupied, white towellers' French.

That's where the real problem is.
Discovery channel supports the claim that Germany was always trying to negotiate peace with the west, and that multiple tries were made to get peace but the allies were determined to make a war.
It was a very convincing documentary, it didn't seem like propaganda.
Those in charge would make so much more money on a war than they would make on peace.
Which was most likely the real reason.
We're seeing the exact same situation today,
the USA, with it's propaganda machine, manufacturing a war that can justify huge military spendings (read money laundry).
It's been many countries since then.
This time, it's Iran.
And we're gonna see the whole thing repeat itself yet again again.
Right after WWII, it was the Soviet Union that suddenly turned into the bad guy,
only a few months after their collapse, it was Iraq, right when Iraq went down, it was Iran.

An enemy is needed to justify all this theft.
And the palaces in USA will only grow bigger and meanwhile people's feelings are literally manufactured under the cover of ignorance.
