nope, there are many different ones that play videos, view pictures and such. there are ones out there that are 30 GB that hold thousands of songs! Mine holds up to around 1000. Yes, you should read into those reviews more carefully so you dont get ripped off. If you get a bad one, think how much money you have wasted because those things are costly! ipods and irivers are the best mp3's out there, sisophous, thats what i think anyways! So if you are planning on getting a good one, be prepared to dish out some money if you're serious about it.

For now on, I'm reading product reviews before making any purchase. I thought all MP3 players are the same. I was wrong.

Not sure of the GB Smithee. I purchased it roughly two years ago after reading reviews where it was rated the best MP3 player. It takes a single AA battery and is about the size of two fingers, very compact, and has incredible sound clarity.

You're absolutely right, iRiver has by far the best sound quality. I returned another brand I got at CircuitCity for an iRiver, glad I did.

Go to Apple.com or google resetting an iPod. Depending on which one you have, move the hold to on and then turn it back off, then hold down menu and the center button for like 6-10 seconds and it should reset. Other version require you to hold down menu & play at the same time. Check out the apple site first.
