I think a lot of the anti-American comments are linked to the current wars. War in general is very unpopular with the masses and peoples patience grows thin.

If not for the wars, you would hear far less anti-American sentiment worldwide. There are many people who are pacifists who are against any war and so turn on the nation. Pacifists have no answer to dealing with aggression, other than to criticize others and quiver. They are the cowards of society.

As to the country, I see an endless flow of people crossing the border to enter the country, in record numbers. I think that says it all.

I think you'll find that the Americans are helping people, and it isn't propaganda. It is out of self-interest, because all human actions are done out of self-interest, but there are humanitarian efforts from America all over the world. I wasn't trying to get to her with the British, comment, I was just showing that multiple nations have done things that are not only as atrocious as the American acts she listed, but worse. Also, theres a reason america is known as the best country on earth. because it is. go to CNN.com and look at some of the stories there. two that broke my heart were where a girl from one tribe in iran was dating a man from another. when the fathers found out they arranged the girls death. everyone in the town dragged her out in a circle and threw 10-15 pound rockes at her until finally her ribs collapsed peircing her lungs so she could no longer breathe. she died looking into the laughing dancing faces of her felow towns people and her father. they laughed at her as she tried to hold on to her last breath and finaly let go. the other story was of a five year old boy who was very playful and talkative. same concept...warring tribes. men from one tribe were mad at the boys father so they came to the boys house and while he was playing in his front yard they poured gasoline all over his head and then ignited him he burned for a full 4 minutes before his parents could put the fire out. his face and body wil never look the same again he was severely burned all over his body. thte child is now an introvert and hardly ever speaks at all. none of his classmates will play with him. Its hard to imagine so much hatred in some people....
