Spandex/Lycra/Zentai??

This is probably something most people on here may not have heard of. You see people develop this fetish for certain things, like bondage, PVC, leather, S&M, etc.

With me, it's different. What I like is lycra. I like wearing it, and I like wearing a special suit made of nylon lycra which are called Zentai.

Zentai for those who are not familiar with it, originates from Japan, and they are referred to as tight-fitting clothing that covers a man or woman leaving no flesh exposed. You can look it up on wikipedia for a better definition, cos it'll take ages to explain fully.

For me, by putting this suit on, and feeling the encasement of lycra, it feels like I am in another shell, like I can step out of myself. This I find to be quite relaxing, and sometimes I can easily meditate.

Although there are sexual bondage tones to this, it's mostly for me a relaxation thing, and I keep it private in my own home. Sure I sometimes get some sexual urges while I wear the suit, but that's only about 15-20% of the time, the rest, I relax.

I'm not alone in liking to wear Zentai. There's a little community of people across the world who also enjoy wearing these suits, some mostly wearing Spiderman outfits and the like.

I recently told my wife about this, and she's given it a bit of a try, and has her own suit. She's not into it like I am, but does like to relax sometimes in it, and we do sleep in the suits, sometimes with the hoods up and other times with the hoods down.

Am I abnormal? I've always been a firm believer that in private, if someone likes to do a particular thing, and doesn't involve the public, then it's fine.
