well i am thirteen years old and i still havent gotten my period. almost all of my other friends have and when they asked me if i have, i have said yes so i dont feel left out. i really want to get my period. i am kind of tiny for my age. does that have anything to do with it? pleas help.
In the novel 'Carrie', by Stephen King, the lead character starts having her period at school in front of everyone and was heavily teased for it.
The only reason you want your period is so that you'll be like your friends. But, as anyone here will tell you, "it's okay to be different".
You can't make it happen, so you'd be better off accepting the fact that, for the present, you haven't started having it yet. Leave your thoughts there and consider that becoming a woman is not just about having your period.
