Annoying Family
2 years ago when i was 11 my father died. my 16 yr old sister has taken up smokin since then and is failing school. my mother whines all day howeverbody is a bounch of idiots and we all need to improve but she pays no attention to remembering to pick me up from school. she says we need to stop this and that all she ever does is b***ch about everything.my little sister is a total brat she gets whaterever she wants.my stepbrother is okay at times but he also gets everything he wants. they claim its because he is the only guy kid. he slapped me once and didnt get in any trouble. my stepdad is okay but he has a bad temper.over all my family just annoys the heck out of me some times i feel like running away i swear if u lived in my house u would feel the same way.Also i cant do anything because im stuck babysitting my lil sis everyday tell 9 pm.

I believe you. Make the best of your situation until you can legally move out. If it is unbearable, you may consider a relative who you prefer to live with such as a grandparent. You would have to approach the relative. Unless your mother and another relative approved of it, you have few other options. Running away from home is a mistake, do not do it. Foster care for the most part is not a very happy upbringing for most kids. As for now, you have to abide by the rules your mother sets and just swallow it even if it seems unfair. Hope things improve for you.

Your mom is unhappy, that's why she whines. She doesn't have control over her children. She probably spoils your younger siblings because she rather give into her kids than deal with their actual problems. Some kids lose their childhood because of this, I'm sure you feel that way because you don't get to do what you want, you have to watch the kids. I'd let you live with me but I couldn't take care of you :0) I'm sure you're a good mature teen, and you will grow up to be a responsible adult. Do what you have to do to finish school and move out. Hang in there!
