I had braces on for what seemed like an eternity and the date to get them taken off always was getting pushed back. My teeth looked fine and all but my bite was a tiny bit messed up. My sister had them for 4 years. I just got mine about 3 weeks ago, they absolutely kill on the first and second day, so just try and eat porrigde or something. After about a week you can eat pretty normally. I had these bits of cement placed on my back teeth or make my jaw used to a new position.
